Best Age-Friendly Business Finalists

We’re delighted to be Finalists in the Best Age-Friendly Business category of the Belfast Business Awards 2017. Paschal O’Hare Solicitors reached the final along with Marks & Spencer, Ulster Bank, Queens’ Film Theatre and Happy Feet Podiatry.

The award which is sponsored by Belfast Health Development Unit aims to recognise businesses that are particularly accommodating to older members of the Northern Irish community.

Paschal O’Hare Solicitors were in the running to take home the award because of the firm’s exemplary track record of successfully dealing with claims on behalf of sufferers of Industrial Hearing Loss. In the past, many companies, being a product of their time, failed to provide employees with the means to protect their hearing. Unfortunately, many such employees have now made it to their golden age and suffer as a result.

Most recently, the firm has been successfully pursuing claims on behalf of retired employees of Nortel/Standard Telephones, Gallaher Tobacco and Harland & Wolff. We have secured considerable and the deserved amount in compensation for our now retired clients. Although we cannot professionally or ethically suggest to a client how to spend the compensation, we secretly hope that they enjoy it to an enviable standard. They have worked and saved enough for a lifetime!

We are pleased that our conscious efforts to provide excellent client care, clear communication and a flexible working approach for our older clients has been recognised on such a grand scale.
