Emma was driving in Portadown with a friend, when a third party vehicle emerged from a junction on the driver’s side and collided with Emma’s vehicle, knocking Emma’s vehicle into the path of another oncoming vehicle. The PSNI and Ambulance service attended with scene and Emma was taken to the Hospital by ambulance.
In hospital, it transpired that Emma have a broken wrist together with various other Orthopaedic injuries. Emma underwent surgery for her wrist, and had pins implanted.

Emma contacted our firm with a view to claim for compensation. We had her examined by an Orthopaedic Surgeon, a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Plastic Surgeon who provided us with medical evidence pertaining to the injuries. We sent a letter of claim to the insurer of the at fault driver, who accepted liability after initial discussions.
We pressed on with the claim, and the insurer invited us to settlement negotiations. After negotiation, we settled the claim for the sum of £70,000 in compensation.
