Michael’s pedestrian accident claim settles for £5,316 (Antrim)

Michael was walking to work in Antrim during the early morning and whilst he crossed a road a car pulled into the street he was on to conduct a U-turn. The car hit Michael, sending him face first into the windscreen before he rolled off the bonnet to the ground. Michael suffered bruising to his upper back, neck and right shoulder. He was also cut above his eye which left a scar when it healed.

Michael contacted Paschal O’Hare Solicitors

We agreed to take on his case and proceeded to help him get compensated for his injuries. We sent a letter of claim and the car driver’s insurer accepted liability. To assist on working out how much in compensation should be owed, we had our new client examined by a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who provided us with a report detailing how long recovery would take. This report indicated that Michael would recover in 6 or 7 months.

We entered negotiations on behalf of Michael and settled the case in the sum of £5,316.
