Orla’s passenger accident settles for £40,000 (Enniskillen)

Orla was involved in a serious passenger accident on the Derrylin Road in Enniskillen. The driver of her vehicle pulled out of a side road into the path of another vehicle, causing a significant collision.

Due to the serious nature of her injuries, Orla was taken by ambulance to South West Acute hospital.

Orla contacted our passenger accident solicitors

Orla reached out to our solicitors to speak to someone about her options.

Our passenger accident solicitors advised that she could claim for her injuries and we sent a letter of claim off to her driver’s insurance company who subsequently admitted liability.

She had significant chest pain for 6 weeks and suffered an avulsion fracture to her middle finger. We sent her to an orthopaedic consultant who suggested that an updated x-ray would be appropriate and who subsequently determined that the fracture had still not united and that she was likely to experience ongoing pain and may require surgery on the finger in the future. We also had her examined by a Consultant Psychiatrist who advised that her travel anxiety should resolve within 12 months.

Our solicitors negotiated a settlement of £40,000 which Orla was very happy with.
