Richard’s accident settles for £9,000 (Newtownabbey)

One afternoon in August, Richard was at a garage forecourt putting air in his tyres. He was kneeling down in high visibility clothing, minding his own business, when a reversing vehicle struck him at low speed.

Despite how it initially appeared, Richard was quite hurt in the incident. He attended hospital later that evening complaining of pain in his lower back.

Richard contacted Paschal O’Hare Personal Injury Solicitors

Day after day, Richard felt discomfort and pain as a result of his accident. He wasn’t sure what to do so he sought legal advice from our expert personal injury solicitors.

We moved swiftly to secure CCTV footage of the collision from the garage. This led to an early admission of liability from the third party insurance company . We arranged for Richard to be examined by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and served a copy of this report to the third party insurance company.

An initial offer of settlement was put forward, which was rejected. Following negotiations between ourselves and the third party insurance company, we were able to secure Richard a figure of £9,000.00. He was delighted with the outcome and our performance throughout his case.
