What happened to Victor
Victor was driving along the Saintfield Road in Belfast when another vehicle turned into his lane and caused a collision.

The firm gathered Victor's medical records and arranged for him to be examined by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, who was given the notes from his hospital attendances. The surgeon confirmed Victor had suffered a soft tissue strain injury, and the report noted how it had reduced his recreational activities.
A report was also obtained from a Consultant Psychiatrist, who diagnosed Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder lasting for a relatively short period after the accident.
The outcome
Once the medical evidence was in, the third party insurer made an initial offer of £10,000. Chris corresponded with the insurer by email and negotiated a significant increase to £15,000, which Victor was happy to accept.
