Jason was working for one of the largest ferry operators in Northern Ireland when he was involved in a work accident. The accident occurred when he was driving a lorry, towing a trailer filled with a hanging load. Because the load was unsteady, the vehicle Jason was driving toppled over onto the road. The accident was so serious that emergency services had to cut him out of the damaged vehicle. Proceedings were issued against 3 defendants. After opening arguments in front of the judge, the case was eventually settled out of court for £15,000.
