Paschal O’Hare Personal Injury Solicitors is on the lookout for a skilled Secretary/Receptionist to enhance our front-office team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal services, and this role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and professionalism.

As our receptionist you will have: 

  • Exceptional typing skills: Your proficiency in typing is vital as it underpins several aspects of your role, from preparing legal documents to correspondence. Speed and accuracy are paramount to ensure efficiency and the upholding of our firm’s standards.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will be the first point of contact for our clients, both over the phone and in person. It is essential to handle all communications with the utmost professionalism, ensuring clients are directed to the appropriate person swiftly and messages are conveyed accurately.
  • Well versed in document management: Manage the flow of documentation within the office, including scanning, printing, and updating files for our fee earners. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure our legal processes run smoothly.
  • Be able to manage the reception area: Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming, reflecting the professional image of Paschal O’Hare Solicitors.
  • Capable of mail dispatch: Ensure all outgoing mail is prepared and sent within the required deadlines, supporting the overall communication efforts of our firm.
  • Be able to manage office supplies: Monitor and maintain office supplies to ensure the office functions efficiently without interruptions.
  • Act in a supportive role: Be ready to assist with various tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach to support your colleagues, managers, or clients.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Exceptional typing skills are necessary – this is a core aspect of your role.
  • Previous experience in a secretarial and receptionist roles are highly desirable, with a track record of managing front-office responsibilities with poise and efficiency.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and pay close attention to details, ensuring accuracy in every task.
  • A good understanding of administration systems, computers, and proficiency in Microsoft packages.
  • Competence in handling multiple requests simultaneously without compromising on quality or efficiency.
  • While not essential, experience in a legal setting will be considered an asset, providing a solid foundation for the unique demands of a legal office environment.
