Jack reached out to our work-related vehicle accident solicitors
Jack didn’t know what to do. A friend of recommended that he contact Paschal O’Hare to discuss his options. After speaking with our solicitors, it was quickly established that we could assist in him in bringing a claim for compensation arising out of the incident.
Our solicitors immediately conducted a search of the third party’s vehicle registration in order to establish the identity of their motor insurer. A letter of claim was directed to them setting out Jack’s allegations. An admission of liability was received from the third party within a short period of time.
We arranged for Jack to be examined by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He was suffering from low back pain as a result of the accident. The medical report documented the reduction of Jack’s recreational activities as a result of his injury, the Consultant was of the view that this would continue for up to 12-15 months. Jack was absent from work for 10 weeks as a result of his injuries.
Our solicitors entered into negotiations with the third party insurer. An initial offer was made, which was rejected. We were able to recoup the Jack’s loss of earnings, and in the end, the case settled for £8,000.
