The medical report documented the reduction of Jack’s recreational activities as a result of his injury, the Consultant was of the view that this would continue for up to 12-15 months. Jack was absent from work for 10 weeks as a result of his injuries.
Our solicitors entered into negotiations with the third party insurer. An initial offer was made, which was rejected. We were able to recoup the Jack’s loss of earnings, and in the end, the case settled for £8,000.
