Lily was involved in a car accident when she was driving along the Moira Road in Lisburn. She was approaching a junction when suddenly, and without warning, a vehicle collided with the front of her vehicle. Lily attended the Royal Victoria Hospital as a result of the multiple injuries sustained in the accident.
She reached out to our car accident solicitors
Lily contacted Paschal O’Hare Personal Injury Solicitors and consulted one of our friendly solicitors.
We immediately conducted a search of the third party’s vehicle registration plate number in order to establish the identity of their motor insurer. Our solicitors informed the third party’s insurer of our intention to claim for personal injury, loss and suffering. We were able to secure an admission of liability a short time later.
Our solicitors had Lily examined by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, a Consultant Neurologist and a Consultant Psychiatrist. We gathered Lily’s Hospital records along with her GP notes and records and provided these to the Consultants, who produced a report detailing the nature and extent of Lily’s injuries.
Lily was required to take 15 days off work as a result of the accident. We gathered the required information to allow us to include her loss of earnings in her claim.
After medical evidence was served, we entered into negotiations with the third party insurer.
An initial offer of £10,818 was made. We managed to negotiate a final settlement of £15,000 which Lily was happy with.
